What are all the input types available in HTML

There are many input types available in HTML. Many Online forms are designed based on the input types. Some of input types are text, password, email etc., Lets Get start work with HTML
In HTML we got many input types. This post will explain you some of it. already we have discussed about Anchor Tag.1) Getting Ordinary text values in a text box. Type = “text”, size attribute represents the size of the text box. name is the id for the text box.<input type=”text” name=”text1″ size=”20″>2) Getting Passwords in a text box. input type = “password”. will not display the characters. this property displays the values in the text box as star ( * )

3) Inserting a check box value. input type= “Checkbox”.

4) Inserting a Radio Button. input type=”radio”

<input type=”radio” name=”radio1″>

The major difference between Radio and Check Box is. we can select two Check box at a time but incase of Radio button we can’t select,only if the name of the radio box is same.

5) button types in html. input type=”submit”. used to submit the values of the form. value will display the content on the button.

<input type=”submit” value=”Submit” name=”submit”>

6) input type =”reset”. used to reset the form.

<input type=”reset” value=”reset” name=”reset1″>

Input type submit and reset are used in Form tag.

Some of the new input types are available like mail, date,datetime, and url.etc,. this are all not supported in internet explore 9 or previous version. many more tags are explained here

7) input type=”email” , which automatically validating for the email Id

In same way use the other types in the code.
